Since the start the IAM has published a regular newsletter \u201cPsammonalia\u201d, though over recent years other channels of communication between members have come to the fore. The complete back collection of <a href=\"https:\/\/meiofauna.org\/index.php\/psammonalia\/psammonalia-archive\/\">Psammonalia<\/a> is available on this website.<\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-BE\">The IAM is a non-profit organization registered in Belgium since October 2024, under the business number 1016135376. A translated version of the founding act, including the statutes, is available for consultation <a href=\"https:\/\/meiofauna.org\/index.php\/about-the-iam\/founding-act-of-the-international-association-of-meiobenthologists\/\">here<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The IAM organises a conference for members every 3 years, starting wit the first in Tunisia in 1969. The last in person meeting was held in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seventimco.uevora.pt\/index.php\">\u00c9vora<\/a>, Portugal in 2019, and the most recent meeting was held online, hosted by <a href=\"https:\/\/niwa.co.nz\/\">NIWA<\/a> in Wellington, New Zealand.
