This is a species of Raiarctus (Tardigrada, Styraconyxidae) which was found in sediment at a depth of 114 m at Station 32B just to the south of Robinson Crusoe Island (Juan Fernández Islands, Chile; -33º41.000, -78º45.131) during the CIMAR28 research cruise on board the Chilean Navy’s research vessel the “Cabo de Hornos“.
